Dr. Jillian Colson is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery. She provides medical and surgical eye care with a focus on compassionate, individualized treatment and surgical excellence.
Dr. Colson also cares for veterans at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, where she previously served as Chief of Ophthalmology and Residency Site Director. In addition, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona, where she trains future ophthalmologists. She has received the “Best Surgical Instructor” award on multiple occasions as well as the Department of Ophthalmology Teaching Award.
Dr. Colson earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Case Western Reserve University, graduating summa cum laude.
